Fitness experts only please! I lost a lot of muscle -what should I do?
Please, serious fitness experts only! I’m female and I gained a couple pounds over the holiday and am trying to lose it. Normally I eat 1500 calories per day and do 30 minutes cardio followed by half an hour of weight traning (usually core followed by arms/chest or legs)…well, to up my weight loss to 1-2 pounds a week, I decided to eat 1200 calories and up cardio to 45 minutes followed by the same half an hour of weight training. On Tuesday and Wednesday, however, I wasn’t able to eat more than 1100 calories (I counted) due to work. When I checked the scale today, it said I had lost 5 pounds! I’ve had a problem with losing muscle before, which means that anything I ate would come on twice as quickly! What should I do! I cut back to 30 minutes cardio and did more strength training today, but should I up my calories or keep it the same or see what happens on the scale?

Can someone give me some tips on toning?? I am recovering from a severe Lupus flare. I am currently confined to the house. The doctor says I need to tone up my "core" muscles – esp back legs and abdomen – I have no clue what exercises to do …the only equipment I have is a medium sized ball and some long rubber bands….if anyone with fitness knowledge can help me –
**also need help putting back on some weight…my doctor recommends about 10 pounds muscle weight, i am currently at 95 , would like to be somewhere around 105. (I eat all day long, pretty healthy too, but it isnt helping).
I really appreciate any help/advice

Are the classes at 24hourfitness better than weight training myself?
I take a variety of classes at 24 hour fitness along with an hour cardio when I work out 5 days a week. For example, 24lift(strength) 24SET(strength&cardio) core central, yoga, and pilates. Is it better if I weight train myself, alternating with arms one day and legs the next or to just take the classes?

Is pole fitness safe when pregnant?
Please don’t be judgmental, i go to weekly pole fit EXERCISE CLASSES and have been doing so for about a year. it basically involves doing strength moves similar to gymnastics, but hanging upside down from the pole, holding on with just legs or just arms. It uses core strength muscles.
I have just found out that i’m pregnant (5.5 weeks) and i’m worried that it might now be dangerous for me to attend these classes. What do you think? Does anyone here pole? Did you give up in early pregnancy?

Does physical fitness REALLY help a person ride more advanced horses?
Like strong legs, core (abs), etc? Does that help a rider ride more advanced horses and to jump higher? Also does it help a rider’s endurance in his or her muscles while riding? And also when riding a dramatically bouncy horse?
I’ve heard it really does help… but does it truly?

Fitness excercises for leg and core strength?
I’m 16 and play Colts footy for my local footy club. I have pretty big shoulders and do weights for my arms but what can I do for strengthening of my legs and core. I want to be able to break tackles and be able to get the hard ball. I also want to get better acceleration and this will help break tackles as well. Any ideas on excercises and I have free weights as well if they are of help?
