www.evangestyle.com www.evangesews.com The perfect DIY gift! For a friend, for mothers’ day, or for yourself! I expecially like this project because it’s personal and home made, but it still has a function. You will need: -Epsom salts or coarse sea salt -essential oil (I recommend lavender or eucalyptus) -liquid food colouring (optional) -a pretty jar Add the essential oils to the salts. Use more than you think you’ll need, as the scent will dissipate when added to the bath water. If you like colour, add a drop or two of food colourig. Don’t worry, it;s not going to stain either you or your tub. Store the scented salts in a decorative jar. If you’re giving this as a gift, add a ribbon and a tag. While this makes such a great gift for a mother or a girlfriend, I’m actually making these for myself. I’ve started a fitness boot-camp class, and my muscles are very sore. Add the bath salts liberally to your bath water. I use 1 to 2 cups. It seems wasteful, but even if you take an epsom salt bath almost every night of the week, it’ll still work out to be cheaper than a single bath bomb from lush. And, unlike lush, these bath salts just dont smell nice, they have a proven therapeutic effect. I’d recommended brushing your teeth and getting everything ready for bed BEFORE you get in the bath. Epsom salts are so relaxing that you’ll want to fall asleep the moment you get out of the tub.
