There are different reason for yellowing cucumber leaves. One common reason is a deficiency of magnesium in the soil. Cucumbers are heavy feeders. You may need to treat your cucumbers and other ‘yellowing’ vegetables with an Epsom Salt foliar spray. It contains magnesium sulfate which is readily absorbed by vegetable leaves. Start with this treatment before assuming other disease measures.
oh yeah,
i see it. interesting.

Thanks for sharing the info, I use Epsom salts on roses when they get a little yellow can’t believe I didn’t think of it for cuc’s
fantastic! thanks for the vid!
Amen amen…
My cukes yellow a lot. I hope this helps.
Any yellow plant can benefit. I never used it for my roses. Now I will.
I like your garden!
Thanks for taking the time to look at it. It is an addictioning.
I was wondering why there is such a deficiency in the soil? Where do you live and do you have “chemtrails?” These are the trails put out by jets in California that deliver aluminum toxins into the stratosphere and its killing the forests out there. have you heard of this? And do you think its possibly affecting your soil? tx R
Really good question and the answer is that I have them planted in sunken containers. They aren’t directly in my clay rich soil. I made the container soil out of some cheap topsoil and organic matter last year and I bet the cukes then, sucked the life out of it. I should have totally emptied the containers and replaced it with much better soil. So… I paid the price.
I don’t think anything esle is the cause because all the beds but one have healthy green plants. Good question.
Thanks. That is a good solution, just plant them in containers. Nice Vid’s BTW. Keep up the good work!

Me too.
My cucumber leaves have silver spots on the bottom. Is that normal?
Hmmm. That I dont know. Sometimes soil, the quartz can cling to the bottom and give it a silvery reflection. But as for silver spots, I don’t know. Maybe someone else can’t help?
