Im a guy who wants to take those classes in college but one of my toe nails has fungus or something. this happened a few years ago when my toenail got hit and its been like that. im trying to get rid of the fungus and get my toenail back the way it was.
So if you’ve taken any of these classes do I have to remove my socks and shoes? i’ll do my best to get my toenail healthy again but I doubt i can do this before classes begin in september.

its been a while since i did yoga, but if i remember correctly you do take your shoes and socks off.
for dancing though, you keep your shoes on
For yoga, you CAN keep your socks on but for dance classes you have to be barefoot
I Don’t exactly know if you should in Dancing classes, but it’s better in yoga, though it isn’t compulsery.
You don’t have to but you should get special grip socks for yoga because it is easier barefoot and you don’t want to slip. Many dance classes have some kind of shoe to wear.
Try yoga toe socks with grips. They’ll protect your feet from spreading the fungus and will help you not slip which can be really dangerous. Some of my pilates students are dancers and they wear the same grip toe sox in dance and said they work great. Good luck! Hope you love your new classes!
