I saw an ad on TV for the Core Fitness Ball this morning…I went to Walmart and got the ball with a DVD for different exercise routines…just wondering if anybody has had any good results or bad I would like to hear them all.

Love the thing. It’s great for relieving lower back pain (i’m sure the dvd you got has the stretching excersise for that).
yes,my girl friend, the kids have more fun with it them she did
Yeah, it is great for balance & good posture. Also helps strength the back, just don’t rush results & stick with it.
Exercise Balls are the best when trying to get in shape. I used one after my son was born and lost a lot of weight including good eating habits and lots of water! I would lye down on the floor while holding the ball in between my feet and lift my legs up and back down. You can feel it working your abs and legs. Using the ball you can do crunches, push ups even lying on your belly (on the ball) with your tip toes on the floor lift your back and back down again works back and stomach. Any exercise with the ball will tone your body in no time.
the ball is a great thing – it makes you sit straight – i sit on one in my office all day – no slouching here.
it strenghtens core muscles – and exercises on it are fairly simple to do – and yes i believe they really work
you can do sit ups on it, hec, you can do push ups off it or just sit and do leg raises or work your obliques – whatever exercises you do are going to benefit you
good move on the purchase, its like buying dumbells, but this ball can be used not only for exervise but it doubles as a chair as said by curioustoknow, ensure you got the right side of the ball, as the ball comes in different sizes.
The exercise ball is also known by a number of different names, including swiss ball, gym ball, pilates ball, sports ball, fit or fitness ball, stability ball, therapy ball, yoga ball or body ball. It is larger and lighter than a medicine ball.
A primary benefit of exercising with a exercise ball as opposed to exercising directly on a hard flat surface is that the body responds to the instability of the ball to remain balanced, engaging many more muscles to do so. Those muscles become stronger over time to keep balance. Most frequently, the core body muscles. Cheers.
