It is not necessarily by religion,by church or by independence. It is ot me by mind,by heart,by soul.
It is to me by reason of the mind,by the nature of the heart, and by what embodies the soul.
Your Being is. What is your mind saying? What is your heart saying? What speaks in the still small voice of your soul. My faith is in the Christ who is the Word.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word with God,and the Word was God. St. John 1v1 <>

Being with other believers helps, Christ said where 2 of you gather in my name I am there also. But you need to spend DAILY TIME with God, He’s not your go-to problem solver, He’s the guy that made you, your Father. Thank Him for your day, good or bad, ask Him questions and be honest when you listen for answers.

Scripture, religion, fellowship, etc, are all important, but the bedrock for me is prayer.
Close the door, set aside an hour, turn down the lights, all by myself prayer.

Spirituality is not of this world and a higher sense of "spirituality" comes only from God. I like to study the Bible, pray, fast, and try to obey God’s laws.

You develop by studying, knowing, and believing the truth. How
does a person develop into a teacher or preacher?
By studying and knowing the whys and hows of being teachers
or preachers. How do people become smarter than they were
when a child? By going to school to learn. We can develop our
spirituality by studying the Holy Bible, praying for discernment
of what you read, being baptized for our sins and thereby given
the gift of the Holy Spirit, or consulting a person who has already
received the Spirit into their life. It’s the good life.

Spirituality, for me, is religion & church & studying religion and prayer. But it is also feeling a power that I know I am strong through my religion. I feel protected because of my faith. It is also being in tune with myself and my loved ones. & It is perceiving things, especially following my intuition. I sometimes Imagine my head and the top portion of my chest are wide open and weightless. That is what helps me. I practice this way all the time & it has helped me develop. I hope I helped you.

You pray and ask for forgiveness and repent of your sins and to grow in your spirituality you stay in the word of god! when you get off track you repent and give it all to god and you get back on track as soon as you realize your off the track! Spirituality is a wounderful thing and it’s whats on the inside in your heart! I got my spiritaulity about a little over nine months ago on August1,2008, when I was at a church conference will I had been raised in chirstian home however I was self proclaimed athiest, I had walked out of serval fadal accidents without a bruise on my body and never repented then one day decided to go to the youth confernce thinking oh you know I’ll just go and hang out with my friends but then they were sharing testomenios about people who weren’t saved and god finally spoke to my heart and called on me and I finally thought to myself and said if it was for my actions I’d been in hell along time ago! So I went up front and said the prayer and got saved and went someone and talked about it and I was forever changed! I still sin everyday but can’t go on sinning without feeling guilty and repenting and not wanting to sin any more! It’s a wounderful filling to know that I’m forgiven and cleansed of all my sins!

The Bread and The Wine.
We consume food for our physical growth, we consume knowledge for our mental developement. The more you excercize the more you build muscle and so on…etc. Practice and practice more if you want to be a pianist or golf pro or excellent superby quick typist. The same holds true with consuming the spiritual food we are invited to partake of. The scriptures are the Body of Christ and that is symbolized all through the Bible.
Bread – The Law of God – His Commandments (5 Loaves) – first 5 books of the Bible, One Key.
Fish – Matthew and John (two fishes) (Luke and Mark were written later)
Wine – Blood, life, salvation, sacrifice, redemption – the New Covenant, One Key.
Kingdon of Heaven – Two Keys – Old and New Testament (5 loaves, 2 fishes).
Two Witnesses – Moses and Elijah – Fire and Water – Two destructions, two cleansings, one for death and one for life.
Water – cleanse, rebirth, vehicle, componant of life.
Tree – Person, Cross
Hand – Labor
Forehead – knowledge, understanding
Star – Angel, messenger, satan.
Ark – a box for safe keeping (Noah’s ark was not a boat shaped vessel)
Alter – the earth
In order to develope spiritually…one has to pray and read scripture. A person can maintain their faith and have salvation by hearing the Word of God and recieving the Gospel as their heart is prepared to down to the simplist terms but…if one wants to surpass milk toward solid food they have to teach their minds to consume the Word of God a little bit at a time until one is ready for the 7 course meal. Oddly enough it is the only thing a person can indulge in with delicious greed and voracious appitite and not be considered a glutton. Calorie free too. Love in Christ, ~J~
