I am considering adding it to my workout regimen, which includes very demanding workouts many times a week (powerlifting and muay thai). Would it be something I could do before or after a workout or would I need a bit of rest?
Thanks!

Hi sean,
Yoga classes can vary from calm and restorative, to vigourous and sweaty, to something in between. The most laid-back form of yoga is Yin, which focuses on long, deep, calming stretches. A class like power yoga is more of a cardio workout where strength and movement are the focus. Hatha yoga falls in between. It can have long, deep, calming stretches or strong, powerful poses – sometimes in the same class! The great thing about any yoga class is that you can adjust to suit how your body is feeling that day. Even in a power class, if your body is telling you that it needs a break, you can ease off and give your body the rest it needs.

It usually depends how active you are and how flexible you are. If you are both, then you should do fine (=
