PS: This is a serious question, please give me real answers.
You don’t have to be an expert on it, a good experience that provided you some improvements is enough. Thanks.

Yes, as a neurology practitioner I can say that if you keep the brain
working you keep neurons functioning….sort of use it or loose it…
Keep reading, do cross word puzzles, challenge your mind…and stay young
If they are challenging they can help develop problem solving and logic skills.

Yes, because when older, it’ll help keep your brain active and help prevent alheimer’s disease. Even though most people can’t solve the brain teasers problems. lol
I agree with the first two answers. Problem solving puzzles or practices enable us to learn to process our thinking in an orderly fashion. I believe this to be very true! I was raised in a family where "game" playing [not the emotionally damaging] was a part of our "family time". Every week we would visit our grandparents, and after supper it was all about Yahtzee, Scrabble, Chinese Checkers, Old Maid, Fish etc. As and adult and a mother, I have tried to instill those same things in my child. F.Y.I. my grandmother will be celebrating her 95th birthday this year, and she’s as sharp as a tack! P.S. I also am a "Crossword Puzzle" junkie!
Engaging content. I really enjoyed reading it.
