im thinking about trying this on a battery that boils over when you charge it for 10 min or so. do you think the epson solution will bring it back.
oh it still has enough energy to start a big v6 and has over 12 volts. and 400 cca.
Depends, now, boiling over occurs when a cell is completly charged. How many cells are boiling over? Or, how many are not? The ones that are not should be the ones to take the salt. It wont hurt, just make sure it’s charged as best you can first, then add the solution. Give er a go!
I added it to my truck battery, that is getting old, starts the truck, but would self discharge in 2-3 days after charging. It’s been going about 2 weeks inbetween running that vehicle now, and it still starts.
Hey, I have a Wizbang desulphator and Im getting up to 15.6 volts when its on. Battery charge went from 12.53 to 12.80 (over night), but it goes down slowly. Do you think its safe to keep it going when it goes to 15.6+ volts? I thought it would peak out at 14.75 or something. Charge light fluctuates, not solid.
