Mag sulfate – doesn’t get much more disgusting than that… if you drink it – why not record the experience ? Who knows, some of you might just have involuntary moves worthy of a line dance country song… I thought personal reactions to something THIS gross might provide a few laughs – and it’d sort of be interesting to see how alike or dissimilar personal reactions are to something that tastes so vile.
hahahaha! Okay, so the benefits of this is what again?….to develop some country dance moves? haha!
Apart from your own original dance moves… epsom salts is an industrial strength laxative. Vids on YouTube for the gallbladder flush – you use the mag sulfate plus apple juice, lemon juice, (the acid in the fruits supposedly soften and round off any gallstones) – usually right before bed you drink 1/2 cup of oil to cause a major release of bile – the magnesium relaxes the bile duct so if you do have any stones they should evaculate easily – supposed to improve liver and gallbladder health.
Oh. I don’t have a gallbladder.
Well that’s a shame… you haven’t LIVED until you try drinking epsom salts. (some might actually argue the taste is about as close to death as they’ve ever been) Come to think of it – there was a vid on YouTube where a guy’s mom did the flush (she’d had her gallbladder removed as well) and he claimed she still passed stones… he said they can build up in your liver as well, go figure.
“evacuate easily” I think may be an understatement lol- prepare for a brown gush!
I might have to take you up on this!! LOL I need a good flush!! Didn’t you tell me before its good for plumbing issues? How much salt to how many ounces of water? What else can I put in it to not taste so bad?? This would make an interesting tag video!! LOL It would be funny to see everyone’s reactions
I sent you a link – don’t think anything really helps – it still tastes horrid. If you have a few minutes – look to the right for an Epsom Salt Flush video by TREEJAY01. I think her video kind of sums it up –
OMG that must have been so nasty! Yikes!
gross, lol
I will pass on this I neeed no help there, no gall bladder also and will stick to the lemon water to flush liver. I would think all that salt would cause a major shift in the fluid balance in the body. just a thought.
Should a person do this while on P2?
I have been using epsom salt for flush for about a year now. I have IBS and the Doctors can not find anything that will work for me. Not even the syrupy Lactulose. I do the dance usually once a week 😛
The actual cleanse? Wouldn’t do it on VLCD, before or after dosing would be better (due to the amount of oil used) Since many complain of constipation, the salts could be used alone, but it tastes so bad I’d opt for magnesium citrate, or try supplementing with magnesium caps… the coconut oil or chocolate delight can also be used for constipation, kinder, gentler and tastes a heck of a lot better.
Does shift fluids – which is why water intake is so high if using epsom… could dehydrate and affect electrolyte balance if done too often or if not taking in enough fluids. Best I can tell there’s no real concensus as to how often, some say once a year, twice a year, every 3 months, monthly. I stick with once every 4 months. To keep your gallbladder stone free it’d seem prudent to lengthen periods in concert with reduced size and number of stones.
Hahaha!! Had to watch this again and see if anyone else tagged theirs. No luck! I’m a good sport and might do it for fun…How much salt and is that lemon water?? Too funny!!
LOL, better you than me dude. I’m not touchin THAT stuff lol. When they make a flavor I can down and not choke, then I’ll consider it lol.
I don’t know if anyone will have the “stones” to post their shimmy. There are many different instructions out there, some use niacin to help relax the duct, some are mainly lemons. I don’t remember where I originally read the regimen I use – 4-6 apples & 2 lemonaide drinks daily for all 7 days leading up to the gross day: 2 tsp epsom salts in 8 oz of water with lemon juice – at 6pm, 8pm, 10pm, then 1/2 cup oil before bed, one more epsom drink upon waking… then prepare to grab porcelain.
Hahaha!! Too funny! Hey, I’ve done the cleanse with the espom salt, oil, but I used grapefruit juice and I didn’t eat apples the seven days prior. But it IS a great liver cleanse. You just do NOT want to do a parasite cleanse at the same time as doing this cleanse. I heard a horror story from a client who had to learn the hard way.
Thanks for doing this vlog. Glad you are coming out for air these days!
