I have booked myself into Aquanatal classes, as it is cheaper than Yoga classes, but I would just like to know which, in your opinion or perhaps experience, is better…
I would rather take aqua classes as it is low impact and everything is lighter, plus you are constantly sweating and working your muscles a lot more. Although I did Yoga a few years back, it wasn’t something I continued for very long because I could never make time for it and I didn’t feel as though I’d worked out afterward.

There are different benefits… yoga really isn’t about getting an aerobic workout. It’s about stretching your muscles and getting toned. It also is a great way to relax all those parts that get sore while pregnant. The toning helps you not hurt as much, too.
The Aquanatal also helps with strength, building endurance, and toning muscles, but it probably won’t help with stretching out the muscles as much.
You can always buy some prenatal yoga DVDs to do at home (that’s what I do) while still continuing the Aquanatal classes. Get the best of both worlds 🙂 Just make sure they’re the prenatal and not standard yoga ones.
