I belive spirituality can be understood by self introspection. Then life’s aim turns to be being used for purpose higher than yourself. Infact Darwin’s theory of evolution tells us that aim of life is continuation of life as a whole and not that of a single individual. What ever one does which includes self development and struggle of any kind makes me feel the triumph of life and not a mere individual win.
There is no direct relation.
however, the scientist may be spiritual. Scientist do their best to objective, but they can never be value free. thus a spiritual scientist will bring that to the table.
Many scientist do feel a spiritual connection to the subjects they study. This may lead to a work ethic or desire to study.
But the science itself is separate from this connection.
there is no relation. they are two different dimensions.
Agree with the first person. Don’t follow other theories. Create your own. You are here and Darwin is not.
The relationship between spirituality and science is a philosophical question and not one of science. Science is based on evidence and logical analysis whereas spirituality deals with introspection and emotions. Personally I think each person needs to understand the basics of both, but science itself needs to be removed from spirituality.
Huh? Science describes our universe, while spirituality is utter nonsense.
"…self introspection." …as opposed to engaging in introspection on someone other than yourself?
In simple terms, they are opposit ends of a spectrum in scientific terms, to draw a relation between the two would require a change in thinking altogether…in math and science you have an AXIOM (something to be considered or assumed as true without proof) such as the value of Pi 3.1416
Spirituality is full of Axioms, only we’ve never tried putting an equation behind anything, perhaps our knowledge is to yet primitive to draw a scientic conclusions, spirituality may be immeasurable by mortal means.
obviously like your web site however you need to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I to find it very bothersome to tell the truth on the other hand I’ll definitely come again again.
