Several times today I have gone to answer a question in Religion & Spirituality only to find it had been deleted.
Why is this, the questions do not appear to be in any way offensive.
Does yahoo track malicious reporting of questions and if so can they block the whoever is doing the malicious reporting of perfectly reasonable questions.
There are problems in other categories also. There are many complaints on the suggestion board about mass reporting, it is thought to be a reporting group and the team knows and is working on it. There is a post about how to report the problem

Lots are opinions, not questions.
Hence they can be deleted, because they break the rules.
reasonable doesn’t mean it follows the guidelines. I paid a visit to R&S after reading about the supposed false reporting there on the Suggestion Board. I found that about 1/2 the questions violated the guidelines. I think many users have not even read the guidelines much less understand them. If you feel your post has been deleted and it is not in violation you can appeal. If you win, the person who reported you loses some reporting power. But the reason the questions are being deleted is because users who have proven themselves to report reliably are reporting them.
not everyones religious, so many questions posted on this site seems a little like brain washing, no one like to be brain washed. keep it in ya church.
Answers in R&S get deleted for two reasons mainly. One is the asker is being trolled. The only way to get past that is to stop asking questions until the troll finds another victim. Most answers in R&S could be considered in violation of Y!A TOS, due to chatting. If you hit the additional details well too many times, you are chatting, especially when you address a specific answerer. The second reason is some people will report a violation , no matter how innocent it seems and chatting as mentioned above gets an asker nailed frequently in categories that are largely opinionated, such as R&S, P&S and Politics and Government.
There are not new mods. Y!A is largely self policed. Most answers are deleted because two reputable members of the Y!A comunity report a question or answer. Your deletion will not be reviewed by Y!A staff, unless you file an appeal. DO NOT waste your time filing an appeal if your question/answer is in the slightest violation of TOS, as you’re wasting your time.
If your answer is in no means in violation of TOS, do appeal, but remember Y!A is a free service with very few paid MODS so it can take up to four weeks to get reviewed. If your question/answer has no violation(s) of TOS, it will be restored, but if there is the slightest interpretation of a TOS violation, your appeal will be denied.
There are no report monkeys with multiple accounts. It only takes two reports for content to be removed. I would be willing to bet that most is due to chatting, even though you may not consider it as such, it violates the TOS. This includes opinions and rants, which are not questions and therefor violate the TOS.
Having read much in R&S, I firmly believe a great many freaquenters have not read the TOS and/or do not understand it. Reasonable does not equate compliance with TOS.

User in R&S have generally been easy on each other about following the format and context rules of YA. Recently, apparently the category started getting bad, so users started cleaning it up and reporting posts that were violations of the rules. The old users just got lazy in their posts and are now getting reported. R&S has always been a category where people report people over disagreement, but there is a large number of just obvious violations.
