At that website, you can read all about yoga and there’s a section where you can search for yoga centers in your area. If you are just starting out with yoga, however, I would do one of two things: 1) start with a DVD to make sure you like it before spending a lot of money on a class or 2) find a center where you can pay class-by-class before commiting to a program that lasts a while. Also, if you want to get the full yoga experience, I wouldn’t suggest going to a health club like Bally’s for a class. These classes don’t focus as much on the spiritual aspect of yoga. hope4life_2010 on 2011/08/28 at 00:13 forget classes go to a bookstore and get a yoga book and movie cuase its much CHEAPER!!! im a yogo instrustor for teens! but i am a teen and i just teach other teens and its easier to just get a book. chaitu on 2011/08/28 at 00:13 yoga classes make us more healthy. It is good to join in yoga classes magoo! on 2011/08/28 at 00:13 I agree with hope4life unless you can find free or very cheap classes, they are out there. yellow on 2011/08/28 at 00:13 they changed my life… if you have a good instructor, you will have the chance to blend yoga in your life and be very peaceful and loving towards yourself. I’m addicted to yoga =) and once you take the classes, you learn how to do it and then can do it yourself at home. jenfleur on 2011/08/28 at 00:13 I love yoga classes as well as practicing yoga at home. Classes allow me to meditate with others, feeling their energy and sharing mine with them. I’ll also learn new poses, or revisit ones that aren’t my favorites. This is helpful for variety. My yoga practice at home is typically quieter, and more introspective.
